Are my glow plugs dead?

Hi all



the last 3 days or so my zs td has been a swine to start from cold. Takes a good 20-30 seconds for it to fire into life, with plenty of smoke. Im hoping this is just failed glow plugs?



Car isnt down on power at all, which pointed me in this direction. Starts fine when warm.



Ive seen a set of NGK plugs on ebay for £29, worth it? Dont want a cheap £15 set only to be replacing them again soon.
