Diesel Intercooler Hoses - Upgraded

Well after realising I had lost quite a bit of performance when on boost and also using quite a bit more diesel than usual I realised I had a split intercooler hose it was the long one going down to the lower intercooler intake.



I purchased the DIY kit in Red from dark ice designs and although it took me awhile to fit as it was a little tricky im quite im pressed with the final look....







The only trouble I have although the boost in lower end gears seems to be fine I still struggled like mad to get up a steep hill today and it seemed to be in 4th and 5th gear. Unplugging the MAF has made no difference at all and I cant seem to think what else this could be. Its really strange in fourth I had little acceleration at all and 5th gear wouldn't rev past 2000rpm. It really felt like I was driving at a brick wall.



Im starting to think there could be a problem with the turbo but I before I book this into the garage can anyone advise me on other steps I can take.



I also noticed that with the induction kit I fitted in the above pic when accelerating I hear the blow off valve a little more is this normal? I am at least glad there isn't a trail of black smoke behind me when I accelerate now :)
