I've been routing

Ive been out to the garage tonight and jacked the car up, and been routing around underneath like you do if your bored.



Anyhoo, why was i routing around underneath you may wonder/ponder.



Well, i went down below, to do some prep as I am toying with taking my subframes out.



Any way since i have had the car I have done little bits down below, and i was wondering?

If your subframes were like mine would you bother taking them out? :dunno:

The fronts had cleaning/painting done in situ, the rear so far hasnt had much done, and as you can see the rear subframe mounts are the worst, but as you will also see, its just light surface rust.

p.s.



On some pics you can see what looks like rust breaking thru, what you can actually see is rust dust, that has stuck to the top layer of paint.

I stupidly, as i was a tad too enthusiastic, started clearing off more rust just after i had paint a lot of the subby parts :facepalm:
