New Roof settle/stretch......

So.....how long does it take a new roof to settle in / stretch ?



Fitted yesterday and I have to say it looks stunning :)



To say the fabric is tight would be a major understatement though.

I followed a few tips from different sources, ie, slackened the front latch turnbuckle's to maximum, dampened the roof fabric with a water spray bottle and left overnight. Dampened again this morning and left in the sunshine all day. Tried it again just now and its still a two man operation to shove the header down to latch the clamps.

Am I just being too impatient ........ :)
