Obdii eobd / readers
i have a 2002 plate rover 45 diesel i had my negative battery lead come off while driving and of course everything went dead .. so after getting it to the road side and finding out the battery lead had come off i quickly reconnected it making sure it was tight as it must have been loose .. so now the ( MIL ) light has come on so i spent £18 quid on one of them code readers only for it not to work on clearing the light it seems to connect ok but says there are no codes and some things come up as N/A im no expert on this and more research tells me my car is not OBDII compatible so this means i have to take to the bloody garage and spend a stupid amount of money for some one to have the right tool and charge me about £80 for pressing clear ... this device i have will only work on 2004 diesel models and beyond but i thought it to good to be true guess i was blinded by trying to save some money
