Oh Buggerit.... oil filler neck leaks

Just done the oil and filter change recommended after the H/G was replaced. Discovered that whilst filling with oil through the oil filler neck that the neck leaks and oil dribbles done the outside of the tube and drips ontot eh florr.



I now know why the engine torque stay is oily. Pooh ................... another little job to do.



Then whilst running her up checking for leaks from filter and drain plug noticed that the exhaust seemed to be rasping ............................. yep that Rust spot on the silence has broken through with a pin hole ........................ for now. Looks like we will heve to get a new exhaust sooner than we expected................................... Graoooooooooooooooon :crying:.



When I do the stainless tubes also have to replace the hose from the bottom of the expansion bottle to the engine as it's been rubbing on the filler neck and has a flat spot that one can feel is weaker .......................... so that's got to be replaced before it gives way under pressure.



Mind you the top is down though
