Oil catch tank empty?

Hey,



My oil catch tank doesn't catch any oil is this normal? When i fitted a open filter my original had some oil inside the box. Ive fit my catch tank like this:



But i saw some people with 2 oil catch tanks. Do i need 1 for the pipe behind the air filter aswell?
