Wet carpet

Hi noticed today that the drivers side footwell is soaked. Can't seem to find where it's leaking apart from where the bottom on the door would be when the door is shut. There seems to be a lot of moisture round there. They metal door sill wouldn't cause it would it? It's like the water must be sitting around there and getting the floor wet. I did recently fit a boost gauge and followed the instructions but wonder if so much water would get in thru where the rubber grommet was where I ran the boost hose?

Any ideas guys?
