Coming back to MG... In a TF

Hi all,



Just brought myself a 2006 MG TF 135 in which I believe is Sonic Blue! Low mileage at 52k and good straight body and seems to have been after! :) Have been with MG before in the past, before having a Trophy Yellow ZR followed by the Trophy Blue ZS, so sort of know my way with these engines and also with the forums!



First thoughts on the Initial test drive showed a stiff clutch but which eased up after a bit - might be a sticking clutch release arm? Dealer said had been sitting for a few weeks so I'll make sure this is kept lubed up, brakes were the same too? But I was probably used to the huge ones on my Focus ST before haha!



Next one was dirty coolant - most likely residue from any previous HGF but I'll make sure this is changed to OAT and kept nice and clean! :) I'll just keep an eye on this and the dealer has thrown in a 3 month warrenty which I can always use worst comes to worst! :)



But overall I'm very happy with the car, can't wait to pick it up next Tuesday and give it a bloody good clean and polish! Is there anything you guys recommend or cleaning the roofs on these too? Could do with a good blacken up :)



Also any other hints and tips for TF ownership would be great, this will be my daily too so I'd like to keep it the best I can :)
