Getting the algae/mould/green stuff out from under rear window

Giving the car a clean and debadging it yesterday (which went well except for scraping a bit 3mmX3mm of laquer off with a pen knife) I noticed there was green matter under the rear window: here



How can I get that out? I tried sticking the knife under, but it's attached to the glass so nothing came off.



On the same note, what about the green stuff under the rubber windscreen seals. It's dry, I tried using some folded paper for that, but most remained
