Starter Motor Removal - Advice Needed
Hi Guys,
I'm prepping my car for the arrival of my new flywheel locking tool.
Currently trying to remove the starter motor.
I have two questions.
1. The top bolt is pretty straight-forward as I can see both the nut and bolt. But the bottom bolt only accessible from the NS wheel arch (after the old rotting carpet panel is removed). Putting a socket on this requires a very long extension which just twists under load. Does anyone have any tips for removing this bolt?
2. How do I hold the bottom nut in position for re-fitting?
Also, any shortcuts or tips to do with this job would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
