2003 Mg Zr 160 brakes

Hey guys n gals just a quick question about my brake pedal....I've recently changed my brakes all round done bleed sequence as described in rave manual done procedure probably 5-6 times using decent fluid and still can't get pedal hard, feels still spongy, and driving round pedal has to be like half way down before it does anything.... my question is .... Is this just a trait of zr's or could it be the brake servo or something else
