Advice needed -misfiring
Hi all,
Could use some advice please :) for my 2004 45 1.6
have been suffering a misfire / chug recently, so checked with the ODB2 reader with code - P0300 - powertrain, Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected.
Checked the plugs, all ok apart from no. 4 as on inspection had oil/fuel like fluid on the thread and up the ceramic - ah ha! fouled plug.
Replaced plugs, and thought the fluid could be to do with the cam cover gasket, so im in the middle of replacing this - and found :
Now could it be coincidence that no4 was fouled, and the mayo is only apparent around that cyl?
Its not losing water. but inside the expansion tank it looks 'creamy'
Anyone give me some advice please?
Appreciated as always.
Andy.
