Another MG to the collection.
hi all,
new to the mgf section, usaly in the zr bit.
right , went out on the weekend and bought myself a mgf. now ive never worked onone before or even looked underneeth one until today... not a great design, but anyway.
car hasnt been driven in 2 years. so done a brake overhall, oil change etc...
question...
when i bough the car the temp gauge does not work, it seems to get hot inside the engine bay quickly? i presume this is normal with everything being enclosed?
and he fan dosent seem to cut in ( bearing in mind i dont no how hot its running), so first port of call temp sensor?? agreed?
and i pressume the senor is located under the tray thing in the same place front left same as the mg zr?
headgasket was done apparently 3k ago, head is clean compared to rest of engine , runs sweet. no gunk. water seems to stay same level although only been run for 20 min or so.
cheers all
