Bit of advise please guru's.

Right here we go then. I will try and explain whats going on as best as I can.



A few weeks back when I fitted the full exhaust system from downpipes back, and the sealed air filter, apart from feeling a lot stronger on acceleration, she got an amazing burble from the filter (little bit Scooby ish but NOT misfiring) Loved the sound below 3000rpms and also sounded like it was taking off when it did the second power kick at 4000rpms.



Over the time since fitting the parts, I noticed that occasionally I lost that burble and the power seemed nice and smooth up to 4000rpms, but no mad kick at 3250rpms, and then I got a good single kick in power at 4000rpms.



This over the weeks has started happening more and more and it's now very occasionally I get the gorgeous V6 burble. The induction is definitely quitter now and I can't work out if it's a problem, or if its a case of the ECU learning and changed how the car runs and given me a decent, but smooth low end torque???



I have no rattling from the inlet, but the first kick definitely isn't there as it was when I first fitted the parts.



I don't mind if the VIS have died as I can simply get it repaired or replaced, but rather than a pain, it seems more annoying as I liked the power kicks of the VIS lol. Definitely isn't down on power as it's really strong if you sit at 3750rpms in second and floor it. Goes like **** compared to before the mods, just lost that low end VIS action.



Hopefully people in the know and the guru's may have experienced this before and can point me in the right direction :)
