Head bolt inspection

How can used head bolts be 'inspected'?



The guy that built my engine reckons always fit new OME bolts to be safe..



But a company on e bay advertising head gasket replacement at super low prices state 'head bolts are inspected before re-using)



They stretch.. So overall measurement taken?



X ray eyes?



The force?



I notice the company name has changed in the past week.. Always a good sign.. And that they state the are approved by the MG Car Club.. When they are not..



But just curious how you 'inspect a head bolt'
