performance of diesel fuel

like to share my experience with using diesel from different sources.

1. Bought from a supermarket (ASDA) at the best price I've seen for a long time - performance - dismal to say the least

2. Bought from another supermarket - (Sainsburys) passable and was reasonably happy. The same applied to Tesco - reasonable

3. Whilst in Cornwall a few months ago I filled up with Shell premium and the difference was outstanding - well, noticeable. Anyway, I'll be using this Shell (top of the range) fuel - well, for special occasions.

Really, I usually go for the lowest price but I've found there is a difference out there.
