Rover 75 not starting
Hi all new here,
I have a rover 75 CDT in manual, when I bought the car there was no remote centeral locking just on the key and the security light has never worked.
at this time it drove fine and started fine. I then let the battery go flat so I recharged the battery, it took a charge fine, but the car would not start all the dash lights lite up the heater light goes off fine and i can hear the fuel pumps,
however when i turn the key to start the car nothing happens, i have by passed the ews starter relay but still no attempt to start, it feels just like the car is imobilized but not sure, can anyone give me the next direction to look for on this, am i correct in thinking that as I have bypassed the ews starter relay that there is no other reason that the starter will not turn appart from the fact that no power is getting to the solinoid or are there more cutouts in this line ?
Most greatfull for your help.
Thanks Adept29
