Slick shifter install DD style
I've already tweeked my brand new MS Slick shifter.. So that it doesn't foul in first.. And greased and locktite'd all pivot points
Next up was move it so that it exists centre of the hole.. Seems this is ok on the TF but on the F (ones I've seen at least) the shifter is too far forwards
So relocated (just gotta sort out 1 top front fixing point) and polybushed
Polybushed? Yep.. Why?
I don't have any of the rubber bushes or the metal sleeves.. Far as I can see its only set up like that to minimise vibrations through the stick.. So bought a length of 20mm poly bush rod off e bay and made my own for £5
All holes used now.. Unlike when they left the factory
Yellow lines show how much it's moved back
