The end is nigh....

So plucked the courage to do the waterpump. Set cams to correct place, Removed starter, locked crank, locked cams, removed pulley, removed timing cover belt expecting to see the waterpump area full of coolant...it was bone dry...turns out all the coolant was outside the timing belt cover...coming from above...







Had a poke about the exhaust manifold area and found this.......coolant leaking between head and block..there's also a LOT of oil!! No oil in coolant, no coolant in oil, no loss of power...but an obvious leak







This is it with the UV dye and UV torch







Unfortunately don't have the luxury of living near one of the mobile guys, so it looks like Morag may be retired and sent to the glue factory :(
