No resistance in clutch pedal

Evening guys, earlier today I was going over a few things on my zs (2002 1.8)

The clutch slave cylinder was cable tied to the bracket as the housing was snapped and couldn't sit in its place tidy, I bought a new cylinder and fitted it but now there's no resistance in the pedal and it's going straight to the floor! Does anybody know if I've done something wrong or maybe bought a dud cylinder?
