Mgf vvc tyres - help

Just got a MGF VVC 2001 Which is superb



however noticed at higher speeds its all over the place.



as yet not checked suspension, but also note a bewildering array of advice on tyres



mine has 215/40r 16 86w all round made by Infinity



now i note that infinity are not recommended, so my question is



if i was to buy tyres today, what should i get for reasonable cost



i see toyo T1Rs get a regular mention and seem reasonably priced.



also, should i have same size front and rear, or what is the right choice?



I seek guidance from those with more experience than i have.
