Passed MoT
My MoT runs out this Thursday, so I went to try and book it at the usual place that I normally get it done. To my surprise, they told me they were free and asked if they could do it there and then. I was a bit hesitant, at first, as I had not prepared the car for the MoT at all and I knew on tyre, the front right one was near the legal tread limit. I agreed and I told them to test it, if it fails I can bring it back. Surprise, it passed, the only advisory is that one tyre near the limit. :)
I hadn't prepared the car at all, the only thing that I normally do is fix anything that needs doing without any delay - I don't wait till MoT time. Even the hanbrake surprised me, it passed with no mention of any advisory, as I haven't done any TLC on it since last year's MoT.
So the only expense for the MoT today, was just the MoT fee which is £40. Yes it is a Rover :D
