Help Diagnose my gearbox problem?

RG1 box L Series Streetwise 2003 90k miles.

All of the gears work well no crunching or engagement issues.

When the box is cold the gears are all a bit stiffer to engage than you would expect.

When its warm its much stiffer to change between all gears.

When driving down the motorway you can hear a transmission throb (when you engage neutral it goes away so I have eliminated wheel bearings or engine)

Sometimes there is a squeak when you release the clutch.

There are no obstructions on the gear linkage underneath.

I initially thought that maybe the box had no oil, because the previous owner said it had an oil leak and then it went away on its own !

I drained the box of exactly 2 litres of cleanish looking oil and refilled with 2 litres of MTF94.

Can anyone suggest what fault I may have (other than saying my box is knackered get another lol!) what tests I could do what to check next or how to fix it?

Many thanks
