New exhaust back box - need paste?
Done a quick search and can't find a definitive answer to this...
Got a new back box to fit (zs diesel) together with a new flange gasket - and exhaust past just in case.
Assuming I can clean up the old mating face ok (exhaust centre section)...
should I a) use gasket paste to get a good seal, b) try first without i.e. completely dry, only use paste if it blows, or c) smear light coat of something else (copper grease???).
Thoughts welcomed. Cheers.
