Hi there! Another one converts to MG ZS... and Looking for VIS motor

Ey up!

Its finally time for me to join an be all official like!

Recently the proud owner of a 2001 MG ZS 180 2.5l..

Its right nice!



Had a bit of a quarter life crisis this past year... ( women..... cant live with em, can kill em..)

Started off with a Rover 200, which did the job.. was an old beast and ended up in scrap yard heaven..

So of course... coming out of a 10 year relationship, i needed to drive fast...



Got me a Mazda RX8, lovely motor, had some great mods but plenty of cons.. (plus i felt a bit like a hairdresser..)

After £120 a week on fuel, and 3 months before the £260 odd (for 6 months) tax bill, i got shot of... and.. of course...



Bought a Daihatsu Hijet...

Converted it for the summer, had a giggle, laughed a lot at myself and was laughed at a lot!



Finally, i needed acceleration, speed, space for a drum kit, better MPG and something i didn't need to pay an arm an a leg for parts..



So far so good!

Came from an owner who seemed to care a lot. He had various mods done for better gear change, clutch bits. K&N filter, VIS motor indicator ETC.



I basically bought it knowing full well that the VIS motor indicator (right hand LEDS) were stuck on yellow/open. He said he had taken the Balance motor apart ( the one thats lit up) had his mechanic friend have a go a re-soldering and cleaning up etc. Its seems if i sit in 4th and cruise @ 3000rpm the light does go off.. (There is no deadly rattle)



So is anyone able to point me in the direction of someone to fix/swap/replace/give/sell me a new balance motor pllleeeaaassseee???
