Short story. Car packed up last week and had to call roadside assistance out.



Diagnosed as almost certainly a faulty alternator so got started again and drove to the garage.



Ordered a 2nd hand one that evening from said breakers (£29 inc postage) and it arrived next day by tracked TNT postage. I could even follow where the delivery driver was at any given time.



Great service.
