Car locking itself

Today misses unlocked the car went to the boot opened the boot car then locked the doors so unlocked it with the fob and alarm went off pushed unlock again to switch off alarm she says this happens quite often is she doing something wrong or is there a problem with it (2003 r25)it has the later round fob
