door seal

my son has a x plate 25 which is getting wet in the rear drivers side foot well ,the boot is dry and it appears to be leaking water in through the bottom of the door ,the water is running around the door seal collecting on the bottom of the seal then overflowing into the car both seal are in great condition and the door shuts perfect any ideas cheers
