Issue With Hazard Lights Switch

Hi,

This is my first post. I have already found a wealth of knowledge about my car on these boards, and I very much appreciate your wisdom.



I have a Rover 25 GSI, 05 registration (Facelift Model) which has an issue with the hazard lights. When the witch on the console is depressed, the hazard lights both flash normally. However, as soon as you take your finger off, the lights stop. I have another 04 model of this car, and removed and tried a switch from this one, which I knew was good, but it still had the same issue when fitted to the 05 model, telling me the switch isn't the issue here.

Has anyone had this fault, and does anyone know how to repair it ?

I think this may be an mot failure, so I'm worried about it.
