Mg zr rover 200 25 back box ?

So i have a friend who is selling a very cheap "Mg zr rover 200 25 big back box" im just wondering if it would fit on a zr 1.4 petrol? At the moment i have a back box which is rubbing on the back bumper and vibrates was like it when i bought the car i was told that they think it has the wrong back box on ? I am guessing diseal back boxes and petrol ones are different ?And would still rub the bumper?
