MG ZS TD MK2 knocking front end...

Hi guys



This is my second post I think and any help would be great!



Yesterday my car (MK2 TD) started knocking.......



I have only had one trip with it doing so but the symptoms seem to be at low speeds (under 20mph) I get a single knock when I lift off the accelerator and then another single knock when I reapply the accelerator. It seems to be in front of the drivers position in the engine bay from what I can tell.



Its only one knock each time like something is moving back then forwards.



I haven't had time to look at anything yet, just have the usual guess work to what it could be and any advice that anyone might of had in the past with the same symptoms...



I can guess all I like but you guys who will know better from experience with the ZS will more than likely point me in the right direction straight away :)
