fitting tf windbreak

recently got a windbreak for my spark,i don't need to drill holes as the holes etc are already there as its a spark model(windbreak must have been removed previousely),fitting the first screw and block,screwed in tight easily,BUT the second screw is not fitting straight,it is going in at an angle then screw is loosening,and not holding plastic block tight,obviousely the nut inside the hole is crooked,how can I straighten the nut inside without removing the t bar I was going to try and catch the nut with the screw and try and pull nut and screw out together using pliers(then try to replace straight),but don't know if this will work hope this is easy to understand,any help appreciated
