TF Handling issues - almost ready to give up.
OK, had the TF since last September, and love(d) it, until I hit a pothole on Holiday in Wales.
Sheared a bolt in the rear suspension, car ended up like this:

Car returned home on the back of a car transporter, and a local mechanic repaired the bolt, and returned the car to me.
I appeared to have got away with limited damage.
Shortly after, I replaced the rear tyres (see separate thread) with a set of Dunlop Sportmaxx's, and handling became scary.
Had the car 4 wheel aligned, and it seemed to improve, but still not brilliant.
I had to drive the car around for a few weeks whilst I found an adjustable rear bolt as the camber was way off, but that was done, and 4 wheel alignment was done. It seemed better, but was still not perfect. It was suggested that I replace the rear tyres as they were not the recommended ones, this was done this morning, and I now have a brand new set of Falken 914's. This apparently being the suggested tyres.
I left the garage thinking that all would be good, and looking forward to my drive to work.
Alas not.
The car is now worse. I can be driving in a straight line, and the back wants to keep stepping out. It feels like I am driving on ice.
A local MG Garage (Beech Hill) have checked the underside, and they are saying that there is no suspension damage.
So. New rear tyres
4 Wheel alignment done.
Still drives like a roller skate.
It has been suggested that I replace the front with a new set of Falken's but having shelled out 154 this morning on a fix that has not worked, I am reluctant to throw away the same amount again. Besides, the issues "feels" like it's the rear, and I would be surprised if front tyres would fix it.
Thoughts anyone?
