I have a 96 MGF Japanese spec import,I need to replace the Cat on it.

The original cat has a second Lambda senor on the cat itself,Can I replace the cat with one that does not have the second senor fitted ??
If I do will it show up a MIL problem.
If I need to replace with an original where is the best [place to obtain one from??
