Hight adjustable seat problem, easy fix ?

The project 25 for my Dad has a seat issue, it is a height adjustable
one with the winder handle on the base but it only raises the front,
not the back but it also rocks backwards when you get in it as if
something is not attached or come loose, has anyone else had this
issue ?

My T50 has gone walkies so ordered a new one so until it arrives I
can do much investigating so just throwing this question out there.
