As in the title, the answer will likely differ from person to person, if any answers are offered at all.

I recently paid £450 for my Rover 25 (see description with my User-Name).

How much should I consider spending on it to iron out its niggles (CV joints, electric windows, heater, wipers, filters, gaskets, bodywork etc)?

I would prefer to keep the car rather than replace it but where should I "draw a line" on how much to spend in order to achieve that?

I'm guessing at somewhere between £100 and £1000000 but would be interested to hear any opinions along with reasons (be they either practical or whimsical or a mixture of the two).
