Repairing a Churchill hydrolastic pump

The vacuum portion of my VL Churchill hydrolastic pump doesn't work too well, it can produce a vacuum but doesn't hold the vacuum. The problem could be in the fitting that goes onto the Schrader valve or it could be the vacuum pump itself, I'm not sure.

I've searched and searched the interweb and just can't find any repair information on these pumps. Somebody, somewhere must have a repair manual of some sort. Does someone have a suggest as to who to contact or a website to go to?
