Heated Rear Window switch fitted but not working..

Hi Guys,

So it seems as well as the fog light switch not switching the fog lights on (see my other post) the heated rear window switch that I fitted does not work either, or at least something is not right.

I installed the relay, installed the switch connected up both ends of the wires turned the engine on and nothing, well I say nothing, the orange light blinks but does not stay solid, I cannot hear the relay clicking, but when I turn the lights on and try again same symptom the orange light only quickly flickers but I can hear the relay.

Any thoughts?
