Anybody want a spares car?

Hi all,



I just had a look over mine today to see if it is worth getting it to the MOT and I can see all the rear bushes are failures. Add to that various other things, epsecially the rust round the air intakes and side repeaters, I think it has reached the point where it will be more economical to scrap it and buy one in much better condition, and start again. To fix this up is possible, but is a long term project I don't have the time for. Or it might be a good spares car, but I am not sure Mrs Seacow is keen on having anymore cars on the drive.



I am keeping the 16" wheels, air filter and TT Mk4 for the next car.





Before I phone the scrap people, if anyone on here wants it for a spares car I am happy for you to have it free it you can collect it (near subudy in suffolk). It would need a tow/trailer I am afraid. It would be a shame to send it to the crusher if there were useful spares.



It's a 1997 HAM 1.8i with cream leather seats, ABS and EPAS, so might yield some useful spares.



It passed its MOT last year with nothing wrong, but has really deteriorated this last winter.
