Considering a ZTT
Going to sell my Sante Fe and get a lower roofed car so I can put my 16 foot open boat or my kayak on without giving myself a hernia.
Was talking to a customer who has a 2004 ZT T diesel (facelift) in Trophy Blue, 90k, two owners with lots of extras, including an in-car remote controlled pre-heater (unless they all had that?) & he might consider selling.
Bit worried about cost of running though - it had £143 for six months on the screen, which I assume makes it the auto and £260 a year? What are people here getting 'real world' MPG on these cars?
It also has an inoperative sat nav and TV, is that due to the digital switchover? If so, does that make it useless and only good for lobbing? It does have the uprated audio as well, he was telling me.
Anything specific I need to look out for, and what are the going rates for these cars today (sounds like £2000 to me, or is that too much/too little?)
I would like to come back to the MG fold again, and have always admired the ZT T, but dont want to just step into loads of problems, particularly as the Sante Fe has been so reliable.
Cheers!
