Ever wish you hadn't started something?

I have today off so I thought I would get around to fitting the chrome door handles that have been sitting in my garage for six months. What a job! I followed the DIYs, which are great. However, I still lost a bolt. So a trip to the wreckers coming up.

Worse is that I shut the passenger's door and now it won't open. I am hoping it is just the battery is so low the car thinks it is locked. I was working on the driver's side at the same time, so removed the lock. The internal handle won't open the door either, so it seems feasible the car just has locked the passenger's door. If not, I will be asking for advice on what to pull to get the door open. The inside panel is off, so I can get to the inside of the door.

Still, the handles look nice. I guess once the bruises have gone I will like them better. Next step, front fogs, including making brackets!
