Front bumper damage MOT Failure ?
So the PO of my MGTF decided to have an argument with a pheasant about right of way on a public highway. The result was a plume of feathers and "increased radiator cooling airflow". ie. a hole in the front bumper.
Because I don't have much history for the car I want to get it through an MOT, even if just to see what needs doing that I can't see in my garage.
Given the price of a front bumper on the Bay is approx what I paid for the car in the first place, would it be worth taking it for the MOT knowing it will fail on the bumper ( and a couple of other things as well I suspect ), or should I replace the bumper prior to the MOT and just fix the other stuff they pick up ?
