front shocks

I ordered some front brakes and dampers for fitting this weekend to my 99F. unfortunately I screwed up the order and only asked for one shock instead of a pair. The other shock is now ordered and on the way. However It might not get here in time for this weekend. if it doesn't arrive would it cause a major handling problem if I fitted a single new shock this weekend and the other next weekend ?
