MG ZR Thermostat conversion

Hi I have been overheating problems with my mg zr the past few weeks and cannot seem to rule out the problem.

I have checked over the radiator and thermostat and all seem to be in perfect working order plus the thermostat is only a few months old.



I have pulled out the thermostat completely to test it out and all is good with no overheating but its now overcooling.



So I have seen that you can buy a external thermostat kit for like £100 pounds but couldnt this easily be done with the landrover ones.



I was thinking of retrofitting this ?

After buying that I would only need to buy a T- piece.
