PG 1 with collapsed bearing

I built a hybrid box but couldn't get hold of new bearings (2llrj33) for the outer shaft at the time. I had damaged the bearings on re assembly and they failed 70 miles down the road. The bearings had ground metal off the bottom of the shaft and bits of metal were left on the magnet at the bottom.



I have a spare main shaft, so could I re use the box with a new bearing set? No other signs of damage.
