R45 Drivers Window Stuck

The drivers window on my Dads 2000 Rover 45 has stuck and won't open unless you have half an hour to spare and keep flicking the button!

I thought I'd have a gander at it for him, is there any known problems I should be looking for?

Edit; Just had a look at the windows operation and the rubber seal at the bottom of the window folds over on itself when the window starts to move down. Would that be enough to stop the window moving?
