rear calliper bleeding question.

Hello all, just to put a question out,to those who might have come across it.I have changed a rear brake pipe, from the near side four point union,on rear bulk head up to the lip for the engine cover, and placed a union in this area, connecting old and new pipes. On bleeding the system,I intended to change the fluid,so have allowed lots of fluid loss.On bleeding the system, with rear n/s done first,I have not had a clean flow through the clear bleed pipe, and on the offside am having a lot of air out, both sides with air bubbles.I'm using a vacuum bleeder, and after no luck for half hour, realised something was not right.I have used the vacuum function on the bleeder to test the bleed nipple, and on the n/s have bubbles being pulled through even when the nipple is tighten shut, not so on the o/s.Swapping nipples has not stopped fluid/bubbles being pulled through.Am I right in thinking the nipple conical seat in the calliper is knackered, before I buy a new calliper?thoughts on this would be appreciated.
