rover 820 coupe fan problem

hello all



i have got a rover 820 coupe and the rad fan seems to come on and of at random times even when the car is cold, and turning on the aie con dose not seem to make and difference



some one said it my be a temperature sensor but which one as i think the are 3



also i am geting a strange buzzing sound inside the car seems to be coming from the dash?
