Something is tapping .

Something on my TF is bouncing/ tapping on the car when vibrations (not revs or speed related) of the car gets to a certain point, it sounds like it should be something major, but I have had two garages look for it and although they can hear it when you drive they can't see whats making it, nor can I.

All engine mounts have been checked, subframe mounts, the coolant pipes, exhaust etc

Its not drive train as its not constant and it doesn't change sound if you go slower or faster. Not brakes as they all work and the sound doesn't change when you use them.

Wheels are attached and no vibrations through the steering.



Could it be a ball joint or something like that?



I've stopped driving her now and have to use the countryman :o(
